The 485LM is LiftMaster's integrated battery backup, automatically powering the opener during outages so the garage door keeps working even when the power is out.
It's a sealed, maintenance-free 12V battery that recharges automatically once power is restored, compatible with LiftMaster models 3850, 8360, 8550, and included standard on the 6690L.
